Job Description CADD TECHNICIAN/ENGINEERINGJob Title: Engineering CADD Technician Company: Craig A. Smith & Associates, LLC Location: Deerfield Beach, FL Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience) About Us: Craig A. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering CADD Technician to join our team in our Deerfield Beach office. Position Overview: The Engineering CADD Technician will assist project engineers by preparing construction drawings and plans for civil infrastructure projects including water, sewer, drainage, roadway, and site development. The role requires a strong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D, a solid understanding of engineering design principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines. Key Responsibilities: • Produce construction drawings, plan sets, and technical details for civil engineering projects • Prepare utility, grading, and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D • Interpret and apply engineering markups and redlines • Assist in compiling drawing sets and supporting documentation for permitting and construction • Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings are consistent with project requirements • Maintain organized digital file structures and follow company CAD standards • Ensure accuracy and quality of work while meeting schedules and deadlines Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil engineering drafting • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (latest version required) • Familiarity with civil engineering infrastructure such as water, sewer, stormwater, and roadway systems • Ability to read and understand engineering plans and specifications • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong verbal and written communication skills Benefits: • Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Holidays • Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance • 401(k) Retirement Plan • Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities • Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for applicable site work • Supportive, collaborative team environment Additional Information: Craig A.
