Now Hiring: Class B Delivery Driver (1st Shift) Seeking a dependable, professional Class B CDL Driver to join our local delivery team. Position Overview Pay: $21.25 per hour Shift: 1st Shift (Early morning starts) Equipment: 33-foot Box Truck (Manual transmission/Clutch, Lift Gate, Air Brakes) Key Responsibilities Safe Navigation: Confidently operate a large box truck through diverse environments, including tight city streets, interstates, and residential roadways. Route Adaptability: Quickly learn and execute various delivery routes that may change throughout the workweek to meet customer demands. Customer Interaction: Use strong oral and written communication skills to interface with customers, determine their needs, and provide top-tier service. Physical Logistics: Manage the loading and unloading process, which includes pushing/pulling heavy carts and carrying delivery totes. Requirements & Qualifications Licensing: Must possess a valid Class B CDL and a current Medical Card. Compliance: Ability to strictly comply with all DOT standards and safety regulations. Driving Record: A clean driving record and a clear background check are required. Technical Skill: Proven ability to operate a vehicle with a clutch (manual transmission) and air brakes. Physical Ability:Able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Able to push/pull carts weighing in excess of 1500 lbs.
