This role is ideal for a passionate PTA or COTA who aims to maximize their career growth and develop leadership skills while: Building rapport and fostering positive working relationships with key facility personnel and fellow Legacy employees to identify and meet others' needs. Overseeing our internal marketing initiatives to strengthen relationships with staff and residents and keeping community leaders informed about Legacy's offerings. Managing site productivity and implementing necessary adjustments to meet budgetary goals. Maintaining an active caseload that supports departmental standards. Assessing patient needs and devising appropriate clinical programs that reflect the facility's census. Directing and mentoring others in delivering clinical services across various disciplines. Coordinating daily rehab department operations with facility staff to plan and execute therapy programming. Participating in clinical outcomes reporting and sharing relevant information with stakeholders. Managing staff schedules to fulfill caseload requirements and efficiently utilizing scheduling tools. Overseeing CliniFax processes and ensuring all physician signatures on therapy care plans are obtained. Maintaining strong team dynamics and open communication among rehab staff, facility personnel, and Legacy corporate teams. Assisting with the orientation and training of staff, in collaboration with the ARD/MSM, to meet all required company, state, and federal standards. Position Requirements: Clinical background as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech Language Pathologist (SLP). Three to five years of experience in long-term care (LTC) or senior living is preferred. Previous supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory. A minimum of a degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience (i.e., degree in PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) is required. Must be licensed and registered (PT, PTA, OT, COTA, SLP) in the state where the position is assigned.
