Chemours is looking for a Senior Capital Project Manager to be part of our vibrant Capital Execution team. This position will report to the Senior Manager - Capital Projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead significant capital projects across Chemours sites globally, playing a crucial role in steering our operations toward safety, quality, and innovative outcomes. This role encourages collaboration with diverse teams and traveling to multiple locations, ideally based at one of our Chemours sites to facilitate close teamwork and efficient project execution. Your main responsibilities will include: Identifying and securing necessary Chemours engineering and design resources. Collaborating with managers to ensure adequate staffing from engineering contractors to meet project goals. Documenting and adhering to quality plans while measuring engineering productivity throughout the project lifecycle. Leading front-end engineering processes, including project scope preparation, budgeting, funding requests, integrated scheduling, and production design basis development. Fostering effective communication within the engineering team to align on business and project objectives. Defining project roles and ensuring all team members understand their responsibilities and deliverables. Managing project scope changes and controlling costs according to the approved budgets. Driving adherence to capital project work processes as outlined in the Chemours Project System. Facilitating problem-solving sessions to manage schedules, budgets, and project constraints. Ensuring design standards are upheld in agreements with internal and external design resources. Qualifications for this role include: Bachelor's degree in any Engineering discipline. 10+ years of experience managing capital projects. 5+ years of experience in a chemical plant environment. 5+ years in field construction or contract management. Strong communication and team-building skills. Ability to lead through influence. Experience working with engineering/design contractors. Proficient with project scheduling software. Knowledge of smart engineering/design tools. Fluent in Microsoft Office software. Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time. Preferred skills for this role: Direct supervisory experience is a plus. Experience in plant operations or maintenance is a plus.
