Retail Donation Attendant

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking for motivated, fast-paced individuals to fill Full-Time Retail  Donation Attendant Positions at our Fenton Store  located at 3150 Owen Rd., Fenton$15.00 an hour to start! Monthly opportunity to earn monthly bonuses AND 20% discount on in-store purchases. Essential duties and responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service to donors, assisting them with donations in a friendly, professional, and safe manner. Assist with customer/donor concerns, handling them professionally. Record all donors and donations accurately on the Donation Tracking form; record all gaylords/items accurately on the Bill of Lading. Assist with janitorial duties, maintaining the cleanliness in the backroom and on the sales floor.   Maintain standard back room layout and orderliness to ensure efficiency. Smile!  Think you've got what it takes?  Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as assigned; Sunday – Saturday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Extra shifts may be required. Can you lift and carry 35 pounds? Can you reach, bend or stoop? Are you able to stand six to eight hours a day? Do you have a reliable means of transportation to report to work on time? Ability to learn and utilize safe lifting techniques. Ability to work in cold or warm temperatures, depending on weather and donation traffic.
