About the position: The Building Trades Maintenance Associate supports the construction, upkeep, and repair of airport facilities by applying skills across multiple building trades. This role performs hands-on work in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, locksmithing, and general property maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and well-maintained buildings. This position requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, effective teamwork, and a willingness to learn and grow across diverse trades. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes emergency callbacks, support during severe weather events, and snow/ice removal operations to maintain safe airport facilities. Please see the attached job description for more information. This is a full-time, 40 hour work week position, working ten hour shifts on-site. The schedule is 11am - 9:30pm Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday (days of the week rotate quarterly). This position is eligible for an additional $2.50 per hour when required to work a temporary schedule change. In addition, there is compensation for additional travel for call ins, a safety footwear allowance, uniforms and winter gear provided.
