Immediate need for a talented RN Clinical Nurse - Advanced Heart Failure & Palliative Care. Job ID:26-02779 Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct outpatient nursing care for advanced heart failure, LVAD, and palliative care patients Perform patient rooming, vital signs, physical assessments, and phlebotomy Administer medications and perform EKGs and 6-minute walk tests Conduct telephone and EMR (EPIC) triage Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and self-care Coordinate care with physicians, nurse navigators, and social workers Delegate and supervise care provided by non-licensed staff Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, and evidence-based practice initiatives Support patient safety, compliance, and regulatory standards Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Skills-Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact) BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) Experience with direct patient care (heart failure, cardiology, or palliative care preferred) Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills Ability to work in an outpatient clinical setting Proficiency with EPIC / EMR documentation and inbox triage Strong patient education and care coordination skills Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration Ability to function in a fast-paced clinical environment Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to respond calmly and effectively in urgent or complex clinical situations Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact) BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience Ability to work night shift (for this specific role) Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct Our client is a leading Healthcare Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
