MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT SANDBLASTING EXPERIENCE Connect Staffing Inc. is seeking a qualified Sandblaster Operator to fill an opening at a powder coating company in Santa Ana, CA Schedule: Monday- Friday 6:00 AM- 2:30 PM. Must be available on Saturdays. Requirements of the Sandblaster Operator: 6 months or more of sandblasting experience Must pass E-Verify Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. throughout the shift Must speak Spanish or be Bilingual Must be comfortable working in a full suit within a sandblasting booth Experience with sandblasting parts manually using a hose/gun. Prior experience in roles such as Sandblaster, Abrasive Blasting Technician, Surface Preparation Technician, Industrial Blaster/Painter, Blaster/Coater, Metal Finisher, Powder Coating Prep Technician, Marine Blaster, Corrosion Control Technician, or Paint Prep Technician is a big plus! Operate manual sandblasting hose inside a sealed booth to clean and prepare metal parts for powder coating. Review work orders and mask off designated areas to prevent unwanted blasting on sensitive surfaces. Manually blast surfaces using specified abrasive media, ensuring consistent coverage and proper surface profile for coating adhesion. Perform routine maintenance on blasting equipment and booth systems, including checking air supply lines, respirator filters, and dust collection units All candidates meeting the minimum requirements will receive an SMS invite to an AI-based interview.
