Company Overview At Pearson, we are committed to transforming learning experiences. With a blend of top-tier educational content, assessment tools, and innovative technology, we enable effective teaching and personalized learning at scale. Our belief is that when learning thrives, individuals prosper. We are a community of bold thinkers and creative innovators, cultivating an environment that encourages exploration and continuous improvement. As the Senior Product Manager, you will play a crucial role within the Clinical Assessment Technology Strategy group. Working on Q-interactive, an innovative iOS-based platform for clinical professionals like psychologists and speech language pathologists, you will lead efforts to redefine assessment methods. We are searching for a passionate Product Manager with a strong track record to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of this transformative platform. Collaborating with other Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers, you will ensure the delivery of a product that is user-friendly, functional, and scalable, meeting the dynamic needs of our customers. This position reports to the Lead Product Manager - Q Platforms. Your key responsibilities will include: Product Vision & Strategy: Define and enhance the product vision, strategy, and outcome-oriented roadmap for the iOS assessment app, aligning with business objectives and user needs. Customer Discovery: Lead ongoing product discovery efforts in collaboration with design and engineering, engaging regularly with users and stakeholders to pinpoint and prioritize significant issues. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work within a collaborative framework (with Product Design, Engineering, and Scrum Master) to promote shared accountability for outcomes and foster high-quality decision-making throughout the product lifecycle. Feature Development: Convert strategic goals and customer insights into well-defined challenges, desired outcomes, and success metrics, working with the team to build prioritized solutions. Metrics-Driven Decisions: Establish success metrics, ensure instrumentation for tracking is in place, monitor KPIs, and employ data-driven strategies to guide product refinements. Stakeholder Management: Update internal and external stakeholders on product progress, vision, and updates. Drive alignment through clear prioritization and transparency regarding business objectives. Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitive movements, and market demands, leveraging insights to keep our product innovative and ahead of the curve. We are looking for the following strengths and qualifications: 3-5+ years of product management experience, particularly with iOS applications, educational technologies, or assessment platforms. Deep understanding of iOS design principles, application development processes, and Apple’s App Store guidelines. Strong grasp of modern product development practices, including continuous discovery and outcome-based roadmaps. Proven ability to identify and comprehend customer challenges, translating them into impactful solutions. Experience with product analytics and metrics-driven decision-making. Familiarity with tools such as Pendo, Mixpanel, Looker, SQL, or similar is an advantage. Experience in overseeing product outcomes rather than merely focusing on delivery metrics. Ability to utilize AI tools to enhance product development, including rapid prototyping and analysis of customer data. Understanding of mobile development constraints and APIs, and experience with third-party integrations. Track record of working effectively with remote or globally distributed teams.
