About the job Senior Structural Transmission Line Engineer Reponsibilities: Provides guidance on design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes. Assists in developing, maintaining, and updating engineering standards. Offers technical guidance on projects and disciplines. Ensures compliance with quality programs and supports continuous improvement initiatives. Prepares complex engineering deliverables and develops recommendations for equipment and material selection. Manages data collection, engineering calculations, and applies advanced techniques to solve problems. Oversees or coordinates multi-disciplinary teams and ensures budget, schedule, and quality adherence. Collaborates with internal and external teams on moderately complex projects. Identifies client interests and communicates them to project teams, supporting business development efforts. Provides technical expertise and mentors teams across multiple projects. Manages engineering resources for small groups and supports resource management strategies. Qualifications: Strong proficiency in PLS-CADD and advanced knowledge of engineering design principles. Experience in utility-scale electrical transmission system design and structural design of transmission steel structures. Ability to work on-site and interface with customers, demonstrating strong communication and relationship-building skills. Bachelor's degree in engineering with a minimum of 8 years of related experience. Must be able to pass pre-employment checks, including background and drug screening.
