How will you make a difference? As the Web Analytics & Conversion Optimization Team Lead, you'll be the driving force behind data-driven decision making for both clients and internal teams. You'll design and deliver best-in-class analytics implementations and conversion experiments, ensuring tracking accuracy, reliable reporting, and measurable business impact. Your technical skills will solve complex tagging and data pipeline challenges while your UX and testing expertise will ensure experiments are thoughtfully scoped, executed, and analyzed. You'll also be a people leader and mentor, coaching Web Analytics Specialists and UX Analysts, sharing best practices, and building a culture of continuous improvement. By combining hands-on technical leadership with team development and client partnership, you'll elevate our deliverables, expand analytics capabilities, and position the practice for growth. What will you do? Lead and mentor a team of Web Analytics Specialists and UX Analysts, providing technical guidance, day-to-day support, and professional development. Design, implement, and test advanced web analytics tracking solutions using Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Business Manager, and related technologies. Design, implement, and run A/B/n user experience tests using Convert.com, AB Tasty, VWO, Optimizely, or similar platforms. Collaborate directly with clients to understand their data collection and user experience goals, translate business requirements into solutions, and communicate complex analytics, experience, and testing concepts in clear, accessible terms. Oversee and improve tracking installations, ensuring data accuracy, reliability, and scalability. Troubleshoot complex analytics and tracking issues, assisting team members with challenging projects and ensuring timely resolution of client requests. Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting pipelines using tools such as Google BigQuery and Looker Studio. Create and refine internal documentation, training materials, and best practices to support both team members and clients. Develop and deliver comprehensive training for team members, clients, and cross-functional partners to enhance analytics capabilities, ensure consistent methodology adoption, and build organizational data literacy. Meet regularly with direct reports using our performance management framework and tools to ensure reports have the opportunity to improve and develop professionally. Ensure all direct reports are aligned with company goals, vision, culture and core values. Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across the organization. Collaborate with the Director of Optimization to improve upon analytics and conversion optimization service offerings, processes, and tools. Partner with the sales team to scope, present, and sell conversion rate optimization and web analytics projects and ongoing services, effectively communicating the value of these solutions to potential clients. Stay current with industry trends, new web experience and analytics technologies, and emerging best practices, sharing insights with the team. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum qualifications are listed below; however, stronger skillsets and experience are welcome and rewarded at ROI! Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, or related discipline). 5+ years of professional experience in web analytics, digital analytics, or a closely related field. 2+ years of experience directly leading a team. Essential Qualifications: Advanced proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Experience with A/B testing platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, and Convert.com. Strong experience with web design, development or programming languages, including JavaScript, SQL, HTML CSS, TypeScript, and JSON. Working knowledge of browser-based debugging tools. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; demonstrated ability to tackle complex technical challenges. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
