We are seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit within a large acute care hospital and Level I Trauma environment. This CVICU cares for complex cardiac patients requiring advanced monitoring, ventilator management, and titratable drips. This team prioritizes collaboration, professional growth, and exceptional patient outcomes while providing strong clinical mentorship and support. Progressive Care (PCU) nurses with 2+ years of experience are encouraged to apply. The department offers structured cross-training for experienced PCU nurses ready to transition into CVICU.What You Will Do Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients Manage ventilators, complex monitoring systems, and vasoactive drips Perform rapid assessment and clinical intervention Collaborate with interdisciplinary cardiac teams Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans Advocate for patient safety and positive clinical outcomes Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives Cross-Training Pathway Strong PCU nurses with 2+ years of experience who demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and eagerness to grow into ICU-level care will be supported through structured onboarding and training.
