Enterprise IT Project Manager - AdvancedLocation: Columbia, SC (100% Onsite - 5 days/week) - Only Locals Duration: 12 Months (Extension Possible) Interview Process: 1 Round - Virtual Candidate Requirement: Must be a South Carolina resident Position Overview seeking an experienced Enterprise IT Project Manager (Advanced) to lead and manage multiple medium-to-large, complex IT initiatives. The selected consultant will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, stakeholder coordination, vendor management, and executive-level reporting in a highly regulated healthcare environment. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple concurrent enterprise IT projects with high visibility and complexity Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies Coordinate resources, effort estimation, and workload planning across technical and business teams Partner with stakeholders to gather, refine, and manage business and technical requirements Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies Ensure project deliverables meet quality, scope, schedule, and budget expectations Provide clear executive-level status updates, dashboards, and presentations Maintain comprehensive project documentation, metrics, and governance artifacts Manage and oversee third-party vendors and outsourced project resources Ensure adherence to enterprise project management standards and methodologies Tools & Technologies Microsoft Project Microsoft SharePoint Microsoft Visio Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access Enterprise project governance and risk management frameworks Required Skills & Experience 3-5+ years of hands-on Project Management experience 1-3+ years managing IT projects within a healthcare, payer, insurance, or healthcare technology environment Strong experience in project planning, estimation, scheduling, and resource management Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive-level reporting experience Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills Preferred Experience Exposure to Medicaid systems, healthcare delivery platforms, or claims processing systems Experience working in government or public-sector IT environments Certifications PMP (Project Management Professional) - Required Work Environment Fully onsite role based in Columbia, South Carolina Fast-paced, delivery-focused environment Highly collaborative, cross-functional team setting Opportunity to support mission-critical healthcare initiatives impacting statewide services
