Job Requisition: ATHLE001325 Employment Type: Per Diem Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 0 Hours Hiring Range: Per Diem Flat Hourly Rate $33.00 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. Responsibilities: Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes to ensure safety in the program design incorporating nutrition plans and schedules customized to meet individual athlete needs. Designs and implements comprehensive training or rehabilitation programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes. between the physician and the athlete guidelines, and in conjunction with physician and sports performance staff. Evaluates and manages Maintains medical documentation on each athlete and acts as a liaison Prepares athletes for practice or competition based on team schedules, applicable regulations and guidelines, and in conjunction with physician and sports performance staff. Minimum Qualifications:Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): Athletic Trainer credentialed from the New York Committee of Athletic Trainers obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer Education: Requires a Bachelor's Degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) Must pass the certification exam administered by the Board of Certification (BOC) to become a certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) Required Skills and Attributes: Ability to organize and establish day-to-day priorities while using critical thinking skills in all aspects of the job. Must be able to multitask while remaining professional, focused, composed and positive. Excellent customer service skills Displays integrity, friendliness, and compassion. Must be able to establish an appropriate and effective rapport with others. Demonstrates flexibility Takes initiative Able to work in a fast-paced environment Embraces new opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficient with various Microsoft Office products (Word and Excel). Strong organizational skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to demonstrate effective and appropriate written and oral communication skills.
