Credit Analyst-B2B Collections

Job Full Description Our client is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst with a strong background in B2B collections to join their finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer credit risk, assessing creditworthiness, monitoring account activity, and driving effective collection strategies to ensure timely payments. Pay Rate : $20.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience Work Schedule : Day Shift Monday - Friday Benefits : 401(k) Health Insurance Dental Insurance Employee Discount Flexible spending account Health savings account Life Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance Key Responsibilities : Assist in evaluating creditworthiness of new and existing customers by reviewing credit reports, and payment histories Contact assigned customers by telephone to ensure timely payments and resolve any outstanding issues related to disputes or payments and follow-up Negotiate payment arrangements on overdue accounts when necessary Maintain customer files, legal files, and customer call note logs Work with sales, customer service, and operations team to ensure credit policies are adhered to and to help resolve any disputes or issues that may arise with customers Ensure compliance with company credit policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements when conducting credit activities Skills & Experience Required : Collection Management : 1 Year (Required) Credit Analysis : 1 year (Required) Strong understanding of credit assessment processes, financial analysis, and risk management Excellent communication and negotiation skills, in person and over the telephone, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal teams and external customers Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience with Prophet21 or Avalara tax software is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines Education Requirements College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Associate Degree preferred DON'T WAIT!
