Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking a Device Lab Engineer (Research and Advanced Technical Operations) to join their innovative team. As a Device Lab Engineer (Research and Advanced Technical Operations) , you will be part of the technical research and device analysis department supporting multiple lab environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and technical expertise, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Device Lab Engineer (Research and Advanced Technical Operations) Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% Onsite) What's the Job? Perform research-level device debugging, root-cause analysis, and small-batch testing Run, modify, and improve bash scripts and flashing workflows Troubleshoot Android/iOS device failures and interpret complex logs Support lab standardization efforts across multiple locations Collaborate with project managers, system administrators, and subject matter experts to improve workflows and documentation What's Needed? Strong proficiency with Linux and command-line tools Deep Android knowledge: flashing, fastboot/bootloader, multi-device flashing, data transfer characteristics Ability to modify and enhance bash scripts Strong device troubleshooting and log analysis experience Excellent communication skills and ability to absorb technical information quickly Highly Valued (Priority Areas) iOS / Mac Specialist Skills: provisioning profiles, MDM configuration, debugging, Xcode workflows YouTube Lab (Networking) Skills: networking background, Cisco experience, working in network-heavy environments Familiarity with Apple/macOS environments What's in it for me?
