Assembler

Position Overview:Join our team and help us build in 2026! In this role, you'll work as part of a team to assemble driveline components to customer specification. You and the team will work together to hit production targets for the shift and provide feedback on ways to make the operation safer and more productive every day! Shift options: 1st Shift: Monday thru Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm 2nd Shift: Monday thru Thursday 3:30 PM - 2:00am What you bring to the table (basic requirements): Ability to read and understand process sheets in order to build, inspect, and label units according to customer specifications Ability to use torque wrenches and other hand tools for assembly Ability to work as part of a team to achieve production goals for the shift A High School diploma or GED Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to walk, stand, push, kneel, bend, stoop, reach over and under waist level, and twist for extended periods of time on cement or other hard surfaces What Schafer offers: Competitive Pay with a shift differential for 2nd shift 4x10 schedule; Monday thru Thursday in a climate controlled environment 401(k) matching Health, Vision, Dental, Disability & Life insurance $500 sign on bonus $500 referral bonus (unlimited referrals) Paid vacation Paid holidays eligible on day 1 of employment Matching charitable donations and paid time off for community service And more!
