Location: East Aurora, NY 14059 Job Code: 1906 Tekberry is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Associate Logistics Technician to work on-site with our client, a global designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components. This role supports material handling, logistics, and stockroom operations in a team-based manufacturing environment, ensuring accurate inventory control, material flow, and compliance with quality and traceability requirements. Job Overview Within a team-based logistics organization, the Associate Logistics Technician performs physical and transactional material handling activities in support of production, repair, development, and non-production (MRO) operations. The role requires strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. This position may operate across multiple stockrooms and will support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Key Responsibilities Logistics & Material Handling Issue, receive, stock, and transfer materials while maintaining accurate inventory balances Perform real-time inventory transactions including receipts, returns, corrections, shortages, kit issues, and shop floor support Verify cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies Ensure proper lot traceability, packaging standards, and ESD (Electro-Static Discharge) handling Support receiving, material delivery, floor stock replenishment, and inventory consolidation Systems & Documentation Accurately document all transactions using internal business systems Maintain compliance with traceability, quality, and handling requirements Identify and escalate deviations from standard practices (e.g., cure dates, packaging, handling) Cross-Functional Coordination Interface daily with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch, Receiving Inspection, Manufacturing, and Assembly/Test teams Communicate material status, shortages, and process delays to relevant stakeholders Support schedule priorities and internal customer commitments Team & Continuous Improvement Participate in team initiatives, lean projects, and process improvement efforts Assist with training and onboarding of new employees as needed Promote housekeeping, organization, and safety within stockroom areas Demonstrate accountability, reliability, and a positive team-focused attitude Equipment & Physical Requirements Operate manual and motorized pallet jacks, pallet lifters, and other material handling equipment Use hand tools, power tools, and motor vehicles as required (training provided) Stand for extended periods and lift up to 65 lbs regularly (lifting devices available for heavier materials) Must-Have Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1-2 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, stockroom, or material handling Basic computer skills and keyboard accuracy for transaction entry Strong attention to detail in a compliance-driven environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn ESD handling practices (training provided if needed) Ideal Candidate Traits Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and a strong work ethic Open to cross-training and supporting multiple work areas Actively contributes to a positive, team-based culture Tekberry offers a $100 payment for employee referrals Tekberry, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer Tekberry is a Certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) By submitting your resume, you consent to receive communications via text message from Tekberry recruiters
