About Our Client My client, a global leader recognized for innovation in advanced chemical technology, is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their equipment division based in the Providence, RI area. My client is renowned for delivering highquality, highly customized processing systems and is continuing to expand their engineering team as they invest in cuttingedge automation and manufacturing solutions. Job Description The Senior Electrical Engineer will: Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs for custom automated electroplating and wet processing equipment. Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers on sensor/motor selection and process control. Work with controls engineering to integrate the latest automation technologies. Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams to ensure accurate electrical buildout, troubleshoot issues, and support system commissioning on the factory floor. Participate in field startup support and provide technical guidance during system installation, ensuring equipment performance meets design specifications. The Successful Applicant The Senior Electrical Engineer should have the following qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.E.E.) 6+ years of experience designing industrial electrical control systems Proficiency with AutoCAD Experience with PLCs, distributed I/O, and Ethernet industrial control networking Knowledge of SCCR and Short Circuit Current Analysis Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, and UL508A Ability and interest in mentoring junior engineers What's on Offer Competitive compensation 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off If you are interested in learning more, apply today for immediate consideration!
