Deliver tailored speech therapy sessions, focusing on areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, caregivers, and family members, to build enriching care plans. Educate patients and their families to ensure ongoing progress and reinforcement outside the clinical environment. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain seamless care throughout each patient's recovery journey. Ensure thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Commit to professional growth by staying updated with the latest developments in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if pending ASHA certification. Certifications State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment. Skills Expertise in evidence-supported treatment modalities across ages, with a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Outstanding interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, families, and diverse care teams. Flexibility in adjusting therapeutic approaches to cater to varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong analytical skills and clinical judgment.
