Job Summary Safco Dental Supply is enhancing the overall site experience for our customers, and we need a dedicated individual to oversee the taxonomy, product specifications, onsite search, and promotions. He/she brings a strategic point of view to development the optimal site merchandising experience to achieve business outcomes. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Merchandising and Marketing. Key Responsibilities Project Management, Collaboration & Leadership (~25%) Partner with the SEO team to conduct keyword research and choose optimal nomenclatures for category and attribute taxonomy. Build nomenclatures for PDP titles and update our PDP content to add key selling features needed for customer decision-making Partner with Ecomm Ops as a key stakeholder in the UX/UI E2E Redesign Manage a team of two responsible for Promotions and Custom Products and oversee the work conducted by the Onsite Search team to provide valuable feedback for continued improvement Work cross functionally with all marketing partners to deliver optimal landing experiences for external traffic Site Merchandising Operations (~25%) Build the optimal site structure for our customer browse experience, defining the L1s-L4s, based on competitive review, keyword research, and product assortment. Ensure products are merchandised in the correct categorization. Build the optimal experience on the PDP with optimized titles, robust product details and description, and the correct SKU groupings per page Develop and implement digital merchandising strategies to drive increased awareness and improvements in conversion rates Participate in UAT regression testing and site updates Identify value-added content to help the customer make a purchasing decision Improve the onsite search experience including the build of synonyms, boosting/burying of products, and adjustments to the core algorithm Promotion Management (~25%) Build promotions to drive incremental sales, gain new and lapsed customers, and manage margin requirements Partner with vendors on promo exclusives Drive the roadmap of Promo IQ for all reporting needs and the tools of the promotion management Analytics (~15%) Analyze web analytics data to understand how customers engage with the site and use data to propose changes in product categorization and wayfinding. Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels. Build Weekly Business Reviews summarizing promotion performance, and use the key learnings to drive positive comp Review onsite search dashboards and data provided by the Onsite Search team to optimize SRPs to match search intent Review performance with channel owners; turn insights into next-round hypotheses. Data Cleansing (~10%) In partnership with our agency, ensure all data specifications are accurate and follow a defined nomenclature Ensure products are properly merchandised within the correct categories Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in digital merchandising or ecommerce roles (preferably B2B retail) Demonstrate a strong understanding of digital best practices Must have experience managing: Building site taxonomy and building SOPs for making updates to categories and/or attributes Experience working with an ecommerce platform (Preferably Adobe Cloud) Conversion rate optimization Building a financial plan and managing key KPIs of sales, revenue, order count, ASP, AOV.
