Hiring Cytotechnologist // $3000/weekly // Marietta, GA Start date: 03/30/2026 Shift: Days, 40 hours guaranteed, 8x5 hours Duration: 13 weeks Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Histology/Cytology Manager, along with Wellstar Laboratory Medical Directors and diagnostic expertise of the pathologist group, directly supervises all functions of the Cytology Section. Is responsible for planning, coordinating, staffing and technical issues of the section. Responsible for working with co-workers to efficiently perform cytology duties , ThinPrep screening (GYN-automated assisted PAP screening, Non-GYN, stat reads and FNA), special cytological preparations and evaluates specimens from different anatomic sites for interpretation utilizing appropriate criteria for both immediate and same day microscopic examination. Requirements: Minimum 4 years job-related experience - Required Minimum 1 year Cytologist experience - Required Certifications: ASCP CT ( Cytology Technologist, Cytology Technician, Cytology Scientist, Certified Cytotechnologist (CT), CT (ASCP), Cytology Laboratory Technologist, Cytology Lab Specialist, Cytopathology Technologist )
