Chiller Field Technician

Snapshot / Role Overview We are seeking a Chiller Field Technician in Reno, NV to maintain and repair commercial chiller systems for casinos, hotels, and commercial properties throughout Northern Nevada. Impact - Ensure guest comfort in hospitality facilities year-round - Minimize equipment downtime during peak seasons - Reduce operating costs through efficient maintenance - Support 24/7 operations with reliable service Responsibilities - Service water-cooled and air-cooled chiller systems - Troubleshoot compressor, electrical, and controls issues - Perform refrigerant recovery and system recharging - Replace motors, bearings, and other wear components - Conduct cooling tower inspections and maintenance - Document all service activities accurately - Respond to emergency calls within service territory - Maintain professional relationships with clients Requirements Must-Haves - 4+ years of commercial chiller experience - EPA Universal Certification - Familiarity with major chiller brands - Electrical troubleshooting capabilities - Willingness to work on-call rotation Nice-to-Haves - Hospitality or casino facility experience - Experience with high-altitude installations - Nevada journeyman license Compensation and Logistics Competitive salary depending on experience; benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, company vehicle, and relocation assistance available.
