Description: This position involves a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. On-call coverage is required during weeknights and weekends. Various shift start times are available, including 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, and 9:00 AM. The candidate will participate in a weekend call rotation with multiple coworkers. The unit performs a wide range of procedures including peripheral and neuro interventional radiology. Candidates must have experience with stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, aneurysm stenting, AVM embolization, and carotid stenting. Additional procedures include port placements, PICC placements, dialysis catheter placements, and peripheral angiography. The department supports a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily case volume is approximately 15 to 20. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Travelers must be located beyond specified distances from the facility to be eligible for this position and must be willing to float to other units as necessary. All staff must complete pre-employment requirements and can receive reimbursement for specified hours spent on training modules.
