Travel LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Long-Term Care (LTC) | Part-Time Day/Evening Contract - Waterloo, NY (13165) Seeking a Travel LPN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) contract in Waterloo, NY (13165). Provide consistent, high-quality adult/geriatric nursing care while building meaningful relationships with residents. Compensation Estimated Weekly Pay Range: $1450-$1520/week Job Details (LPN Travel Contract) Location: Waterloo, NY (13165) Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care (LTC) Setting: Long-Term Care (Adult/Geriatric) Start Date: 03/17/2026 End Date: 06/20/2026 Duration: 14 weeks Employment Type: Travel Contract (Part-Time) Schedule: Part-time Day and Evening shifts, scheduled as needed by facility + every other weekend (EOW) Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend (EOW) Hours: Part-time; up to 40 hours/week based on facility needs and scheduling Openings: 5 Job Requirements (LPN - LTC) License: Active New York LPN license (Licensed Practical Nurse) Certifications: BLS (AHA or RQI); Huntington LC LPN Experience: 1 year of experience serving as an LPN in a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility Clinical Skills: Age-appropriate care for adult and geriatric residents, including ongoing assessment, accurate documentation, and timely communication Safety & Compliance: Comfort working with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and following all required infection prevention and safety precautions Responsibilities (Licensed Practical Nurse - Long-Term Care) Provide direct and indirect nursing care to assigned residents under RN supervision and in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and standards of care Collect, document, and communicate resident physical and psychosocial data to the RN and interdisciplinary care team on an ongoing basis Support resident-centered care planning that is culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate, incorporating resident/family input when appropriate Evaluate resident outcomes and recommend updates to the plan of care, including referrals and coordination to support comprehensive care Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and ancillary departments to promote a safe environment and a strong resident experience Maintain clinical competency through continuing education and in-service training; assist with mentoring/orientation of staff as assigned Apply now to join a long-term care opportunity in Waterloo, NY for this travel LPN contract.
