Job Description Please review this document prior to submitting your candidate: Gouverneur Correctional Facility is a medium security facility with a Residential Rehabilitation Unit located within St. Lawrence County. The facility houses approximately 725 male incarcerated individuals. The total hours would be 40 hours per week for each position. The shifts primarily would be 6a-2p, 2p-10p & 10p-6a. This would include weekends and holidays. Adherence to Security procedures, professional conduct and dress code are required. The candidates must have one year of clinical experience. Job description: provide professional nursing services to incarcerated individual population. Nursing interventions and their documentation case finding, health teaching/counseling and provision of supportive and/or restorative care. Participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards and function as a member of a treatment team.
