Hyosung HICO is seeking to fill an Associate Logistics Technician. The ideal candidate will provide reliable hands-on assistance in the preparation, handling, and shipment of power transformers. Manually move and position heavy materials using SPMT's,Tracmobiles, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment (certification preferred or must be obtained). Secure large equipment using approved strapping, blocking, and bracing techniques. Assist in packaging/crating of transformers per internal and customer specifications, ensuring adequate protection for transport. Perform inspections of inbound materials and outbound loads to verify count, damage, and conformity to shipment documentation. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas within the warehouse and shipping/receiving zones. Follow safety and environmental policies during material handling, loading/unloading, and equipment operation. Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and customers. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, receipts, and shipments using ERP systems. Monitor storage locations and help organize stock and equipment for quick retrieval and optimized space usage. Assist with conducting cycle counts and periodic inventory audits. Train in and follow all logistics SOPs related to shipping, receiving, storage, and documentation Furthers the goals and positive, professional image of the factory by conducting business with other Hyosung HICO divisions, departments, suppliers, etc. in a timely and cooperative manner. Assist with completing process check sheets and verifying the work of other employees according to Company procedures Perform other duties as assigned. THE NONE ESSENTIAL FUNCTOINS OF THE POSITION INCLUDED, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Evaluate material flows into, through and out of Hyosung HICO to drive continuous improvement of material on hand and inventory levels. Develop, monitor and drive improvement of logistics and inventory performance metrics Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Must be able to stand, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods Able to operate heavy equipment (with certification or willingness to obtain). Tolerance for indoor/outdoor working conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and industrial noise. Occasional travel to customer sites or remote storage facilities may be required. Make recommendations and take actions to improve Company policies and procedures EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in logistics, warehousing, or technical trade preferred. 3+ years of hands-on logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse experience loading shipping large and heavy equipment preferred Basic understanding of shipping documentation and inventory management Familiarity with warehouse management systems Safe operation of overhead cranes, SPMT's, Tracmobile, forklifts, hoists, and heavy rigging equipment Ability to read blueprints, packing instructions, and material specifications is a plus OSHA 10/30 certification or equivalent Prior experience shipping utility-scale or industrial power equipment weighing up to 500 Ton Knowledge of international shipping practices and HAZMAT compliance PHYSICAL/MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POSITION AND ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS OF THE WORKPLACE: Able to establish priorities and work independently under minimal supervision Able to maintain relationships with diverse groups including co-workers, suppliers and internal customers Ability to conduct business in a multicultural Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing projects and workload Hyosung HICO, Ltd., is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Employer.
