Job Description This company has 2 similar but different roles in their Maintenance department, a Manufacturing Technician and a Maintenance Technician. In the Manufacturing Tech role you will perform general manufacturing production and non-production machine and equipment maintenance. At times you will be doing preventative maintenance and at others predictive maintenance to ensure maximum uptime. As part of a team, you will work closely with production supervisors and operators to support all production initiatives including line set up and relocation, equipment modifications and repairs and preventative maintenance. (2 openings, one on First Shift Monday - Thursday 6 AM to 4 PM but currently working 7 days/week for the foreseeable future and one on Third shift that is 10 PM to 6 AM Monday - Friday and they are usually working only 5 or 6 days/week)FILLED THESEFor the Maintenance role, you will focus on Maintenance on industrial and facilities machinery and equipment. This role requires some industrial maintenance experience, including exposure to PLC's. (1 Opening on first shift Monday - Thursday 6 AM to 4 PM and there is some OT but no longer working 7 days for the Maintenance Tech role. For either role they need candidates with strong, hands on, troubleshooting and repair experience on electrical (up to 480volt and 3-phase motors) and mechanical systems (mostly hydraulics and pneumatics) to work on their equipment, including they ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams. They will teach you the intricacies about their specific equipment, like air compressors and chillers, but they need someone who has the ability and desire to learn. Both positions will start on first shift for training. Requirements At least 5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience (or similar military experience) Ability to read mechanical and electrical and/or engineering blueprints, drawings, and schematics Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical (hydraulics and pneumatics) and electrical systems and other equipment including drives and motors etc...
