January 23, 2026 About Us In Fall 2022, Thrive with Autism opened its first groundbreaking public school with the goal of dramatically improving education for children on the autism spectrum. Thrive Center for Success is the first charter school in the state of Texas dedicated to serving a special-needs population. Founded in 2019, Thrive with Autism's mission and vision have brought hope to families who desperately want better educational options for their children on the autism spectrum. In 2026-2027, Thrive will expand to serve 204 students in Kindergarten through 9th grade, with plans to add a grade level each year to eventually serve up to 12th grade. The Role Thrive seeks an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a track record of delivering successful outcomes for children with special needs to serve as a campus BCBA. The BCBA will implement Thrive's vision/mission, model, and programs systematically and scientifically in a classroom school setting. Thrive utilizes the Comprehensive Application of Behavior Analysis to Schooling (CABAS) model of instruction, and all staff members are expected to learn this framework and identify its connection to their work. Qualifications Required Qualifications Competencies and Commitments: • Able to lift 50 pounds, run 100 yards, drop/lift to one knee, go up/down stairs, and pass all physical competencies to be a fully certified Safety Care trainer. • Passion for the mission of Thrive; demonstrated commitment to equitable educational opportunities for children with special needs and/or learning differences. • Holds high expectations for self and others to achieve and surpass intended goals. • Ability to set direction and motivate others to action; demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through work with others. • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment that requires creativity, adaptability, and an orientation to problem-solving. • Analytical skills; ability to synthesize data to set priorities. • Exceptional communication and relationship skills; proven experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders and communities. • Strong work ethic; willingness to work beyond a 40-hour week to serve students • Authentic, humble, servant-leader orientation. • Growth mindset; strong receptiveness to give and receive frequent feedback • Willingness to work on some weekends, evenings, or other non-standard business hours, as required by the needs of the school and in accordance with the duties outlined above. "Why Not" • Do Whatever It Takes • Open to Feedback/Constructive Criticism • Transparency • Live By Our Values - Servant Leadership Responsibilities Instructional Coach Duties • Learn and internalize CABAS model for daily application to student and staff learning plans. • Support implementation of the CABAS model in the classroom. • Continue personal professional development through CABAS ranks and CEUs. • Provides leadership/training in the best practices regarding Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports. • Provides training and assists the campus staff in conducting, writing, and/or implementing functional behavioral assessments, behavior intervention plans, and/or facilitates scripting behavior objectives and oversees implementation of data collection/graphing behavior goals. • Participate in campus Safety Committee and Behavioral Threat Assessment Team • Provide Safety Care training as a certified trainer • Provide staff and parent trainings on topics related to Applied Behavior Analysis. • Collaborates with staff to problem solve in crisis situations. • Facilitates communication and collaboration with building personnel and parents. • Assist with individual staff TPRAs once Teacher I Rank achieved. • Collaborate daily with CABAS Instructional Coach on student and staff learning goals. Student Support • Develop individualized learning plans for all students that align with their verbal behavior development. • Assist in designing Special Education Individual Educational Plans for all students (IEPs). • Attend IEP meetings as needed. • Perform Behavior Intervention Plans and Functional Behavior Assessments as needed • Assist with student behavior support as needed Supervisory Responsibilities • Serve as point-of-contact for Tier 1 support of all Behavior Technicians/Instructional Aides • Provide supervision to BCBA interns on staff • Provide supervision to RBTs as needed • Provide supervision of all students when tasked with classroom coverage support • Maintain exemplary professionalism and confidentiality Compensation & Benefits Compensation BCBA positions begin at $65,000 and increases based on years of relevant experience, earned degrees, and current certifications.
