Must be local to Indianapolis, IN Position Summary The Business Operations Analyst supports the development and execution of business operations best practices within the Office of Data and Analytics (ODA). This role manages departmental budgeting, assists with strategic planning, supports operational improvements, and provides project coordination for high-priority initiatives. The analyst works closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency, productivity, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities Manage ODA budgets and provide financial reports to the Finance team as needed. Advise leadership on optimal use of funds to support staffing and operational priorities. Assist with the development and implementation of business operations strategies. Develop and maintain performance metrics and reports to track efficiency and outcomes. Support quality assurance efforts for ODA data products. Collaborate with leadership and the Office of Performance Excellence on strategic planning and KPI tracking. Assist with drafting or updating job descriptions to ensure proper classification and alignment with operational needs. Help test and implement new systems, processes, or procedures to improve workflow and efficiency. Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership. Provide project coordination and communication support for business operations initiatives. Support data transformation projects and other assigned activities. Ensure compliance with HIP nd applicable state data privacy regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities No direct reports. May serve as a project or initiative lead and delegate tasks with guidance from senior staff. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, project management, or a related field or equivalent professional experience. 4 years of experience in business operations analysis or project management. 4 years of experience working in a technical, data, or analytics-focused environment. 2 years of budget management experience. 2 years of DevOps experience. Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working in cross-functional, fast-paced environments. Ability to maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Work Environment & Conditions Work is performed in a standard office environment. Position requires extended periods of computer use. Assignments involve collaboration across teams and require sound judgment, communication, and decision-making skills.
