Job Description: CNC Maintenance Repair Technician - 33737 Location: Syracuse, New York, United States Industry: Manufacturing & Production Job Category: Manufacturing - Production Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: Base Salary - USD $66,705 per year Benefits: 401K Contributions Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance (effective Day 1) Paid Time Off - Vacation and Holidays Employee Assistance Program Position Overview: Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division is seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) for the 2nd Shift, based at the Syracuse, NY facility with core hours from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The hourly rate for this position is $32.07 per hour. Responsibilities: Tear down and repair damaged electrical or mechanical mechanisms; replace worn or defective parts. Adjust and check equipment specifications to ensure effective operation. Troubleshoot machine cycle malfunctions, perform electrical test operations. Use judgment to comply with instructions and make decisions. Work from schematic diagrams, manuals, and testing procedures. Qualifications: Required: High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution. Journeyman status or three years of documented CNC repair maintenance experience. Experience with ladder logic, industrial motor control schematics, and blueprint reading. Must reside within 50 miles of the Syracuse facility and be eligible to work in the U.S. Preferred: Four years of CNC repair maintenance experience. Two-year degree in electronics or military electronics experience. Background in machining, hydraulics, and electrical equipment.
