Plumbing Designer Full Time Cincinnati, OH, US Job Description: Our architecture/engineering services client is currently seeking to hire a Plumbing Designer. The Plumbing Designer supports the mechanical/plumbing department in meeting its project responsibilities, schedules and goals. The position will collaborate with MEP department staff during the design and documentation of plumbing systems and will coordinate plumbing design with all other disciplines so that the design is coordinated internally as well as with external clients. Key Responsibilities Partner with plumbing engineers and project managers. Assist in plumbing engineering projects under the guidance of senior engineers and MEP staff. Develop plumbing design and construction documents in Revit. Contribute to plumbing engineering design studies, narratives, calculations, and analyses. Support the preparation of design documents across all project phases: concept, schematic, design development, and construction documents. Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 4+ years of experience in mechanical design for buildings. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical design software (e.g., Trane Trace, Carrier HAP). Knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and LEED principles.
