Join a dynamic healthcare team as an Ultrasound Student Technologist Intern working evening shifts in a regional medical center serving the Southeastern United States. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform ultrasound procedures for which you have demonstrated competency. Education and Formal Training Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Sonography certificate or diploma program. New graduates who are registered or registry eligible are encouraged to apply. Certification in CPR through the American Heart Association is required. Experience and Skills Experience caring for patients across all age groups-from neonates to geriatrics-is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical skills in diagnostic and vascular sonography, along with compassionate patient care and excellent interpersonal communication abilities, both verbal and written. Requirements Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate positive interpersonal skills. Physical capability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Dexterity, visual acuity, and mobility to assume awkward positions and respond to emergency situations. Willingness to work in environments with potential exposure to blood or infectious materials. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
