Facilities Maintenance Technician

Snelling Staffing is hiring a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician in Bryan, TX for a leading industrial manufacturing facility serving the oil and gas industry. If you have strong mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience and enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment in a fast-paced plant environment, this could be a great fit. Position Overview The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance across the entire manufacturing facility. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and maintaining a safe work environment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics Repair and maintain production equipment throughout the facility Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to reduce downtime Submit reports on equipment condition and repair needs Maintain tools, supplies, and mechanical inventory Follow all company, local, and federal safety standards Assist with equipment changeovers and plant improvements Report unresolved issues to the Maintenance Supervisor Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Trade School certification or Industrial Apprenticeship in mechanical or hydraulic trades preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanical technician, millwright, hydraulic technician, or mechanical repair helper Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Our Commitment to Fair Hiring: HireQuest does not discriminate on the basis of Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or other legally protected group status in making hiring or employment decisions.
