We are seeking a highly motivated Travel Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patent care and serving as a resource in the therapy department. Description: Occupational therapy (OT) is an allied health profession that involves the therapeutic use of everyday activities, or occupations, to treat the physical, mental, developmental, and emotional ailments that impact a patient's ability to perform daily tasks. The responsibilities of Occupational Therapist include (but are not limited to): Evaluating a patient's condition and needs Developing treatment plans to address a patient's needs and help them meet specific goals Assessing a patient's home and/or work environment and recommending adaptations to fit the patient's needs and improve independence Training patients and their caregivers to use special equipment Assessing and documenting progress for evaluation, billing, and reporting purposes Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or high in Occupational Therapy Current state License as an Occupational Therapist Current CPR certification Kansas License One (1) year experience in acute care, or out-patient setting preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills As a Occupational Therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient care is our top priority.
