QA Engineer

Title: QA Engineer Pay Rate: $50/hr Location: Onsite in Sunnyvale, CA Type: Part time support as needed and temporary up to 6 months About this Opportunity This is not a full-time or direct-hire position. Instead, it's a flexible role where you may be called upon for short-term assignments as needs arise. Hours will vary depending on the client's workload, so this opportunity is best suited for someone comfortable with an on-call style schedule and short-term commitments. About You: Required Qualifications: Previous QA experience testing Wi-Fi 3+ years of experience in wireless testing in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or Cellular Understanding of 802.11 standards 2+ years of experience in software test automation using Python Automating test cases for embedded software In-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance Concepts and methodology Solid understanding of operating system software, as well as knowledge of object-oriented design principles. Automating test cases for embedded software. Experience working in a UNIX/Linux environment and utilizing virtual machines Preferred Skills Knowledge of wireless connectivity technologies, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and experience developing product test harnesses Experience with Android, iOS or other mobile application development or testing Experience with WAN setup and testing Experience working closely with development and business teams.
