Job Full Description Job Title: Night Shift FitterPay: $24 Location: Taylors, SC Schedules: 6:00pm to 6:00am Monday-Thursday OR 6:00pm to 6:30am Friday-Sunday Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Night Shift Fitter to support production operations at a structural steel facility. This role focuses on fitting and assembling steel components using blueprints and weld symbols, with welding performed primarily using MIG welding processes. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret structural blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols Fit and assemble structural steel components according to drawings and specifications Perform MIG welding to tack and weld components in place Verify measurements, alignment, and accuracy prior to and during welding Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Meet production and quality standards during night shift operations Required Qualifications Prior experience as a fitter, fitter/welder, or structural steel assembler Strong ability to read and understand blueprints (fabrication knowledge required for interpretation purposes) Proficient in MIG welding specifically 2G and fillet welds Able to accurately measure to within 1/16of an inch Ability to work night shift and stand for extended periods Steel-toe or Metaguard boots REQUIRED Preferred Qualifications Structural steel or heavy industrial environment experience Experience fitting beams, columns, plates, or assemblies Erecting experience is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on night shift Apply Today: Visit Our Office: 3223 N Pleasantburg Drive | Suite D | Greenville, SC 29609 Give us a call: (864) 300-4749 About Express Employment: We help job seekers find the right roles-full-time, part-time, or flexible.
