Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) Full Time / Competitive pay / 20K Sign On Bonus Job Summary: As a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), you will assist in performing diagnostic tests, such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), echocardiograms, and stress tests. You will play a vital role in supporting the cardiovascular team by providing critical data used to diagnose and treat heart-related conditions. Your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals will contribute to the success of our cardiovascular department. Job Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Associates or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred. ARDMS (RVT and/or RDCS) or CCI (RCS and/or RVS) or registry eligible Current CPR (BLS) certification required Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic cardiovascular tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other imaging procedures. Assist in invasive procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements. Monitor and record patient vitals during testing procedures. Prepare patients for testing, explaining procedures, and ensuring their comfort throughout the process. Maintain and operate cardiovascular equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly. Record and analyze results, providing accurate data for physicians to assess patient health.
