Quality Assurance Consultant III

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant III to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Consultant III, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title:Quality Assurance Consultant III Location:Newark, DE Pay Range:What's the Job? Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices. Perform System Integration Testing (SIT) and end-to-end testing on applications and technology to verify compliance with business, technical, and functional requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Design and execute comprehensive test scripts based on test strategies and plans to identify defects before production deployment. Conduct production certification activities, including manual and automated script execution to certify system health and identify post-production issues. Utilize tools such as Selenium, SQL, SoapUI, and Unix commands to perform testing and validation activities effectively. What's Needed? Minimum of 8+ years of experience in QA testing within a fast-paced environment. Hands-on experience with Agile testing methodologies and Web Services testing including SoapUI/XML, REST/JSON, MQ, and Unix. Proficiency in frontend, ETL, and database testing with extensive SQL query writing and execution skills. Technical expertise with tools such as Unix, SQL, Putty, SoapUI, WinSCP, MQ, Splunk, JBoss, Autosys, TOAD, HP ALM, and JIRA.
