Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to develop integrated care approaches. Provide education to patients and their families to support continued progress between therapy sessions. Engage in periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure comprehensive care throughout treatment. Maintain meticulous documentation that meets state, federal, and organizational standards. Stay engaged with the latest industry innovations through continuous education and collaboration with peers. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification has not yet been obtained. Certifications Must hold valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be secured within 30 days of employment start date.
