Position Type: Student Services/School Counselor Date Posted: 1/16/2026 Location: Hinsdale Central High School Date Available: 08/10/2026 District: Hinsdale Township High School District #86 ANTICIPATED OPENINGS: Hinsdale District 86 is looking for a school counselor at Hinsdale Central High School for the 2026- 2027 school year. The ideal candidate possesses strong content knowledge in academic counseling,college counseling, and SEL. This position is within the Counseling & Social Work Department. TIMELINE: Anticipated openings will be posted on the District 86 website in January 2026. Screener interviews are scheduled to begin in late February. Interested candidates should submit a completed application by February 20, 2026, for review. No interviews will occur prior to this time. Qualifications/Skills: Candidates must have a valid State of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor Endorsement.
