Department: 02240 GCMG Neurology CNC: Kenilworth - Neurology Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: This is a request for 2.0 APP FTEs to support our Cognitive Program and would both be 40 hours per week with a portion of clinic to be virtual to support access for memory care across the region. They would have a standard 40 hour weekday schedule with strong preference being 4 days a week to maximize our space utilization while providing in clinic time. Pay Range $46.55 - $69.85 Atrium Health Neurology seeks a qualified Advanced Practice Professional (PA/NP)to join our outpatient neurology team and provide cognitive care at Atrium Health Neurology-Cabarrus in Concord. We have an amazing opportunity for a Neurology APP to provide outpatient neurologic care with a focus on memory and cognitive disorders. Our multidisciplinary cognitive team offers comprehensive memory care from screening and early detection, clinical care across all stages of cognitive impairment and dementia. Our team offers the most advanced treatment options available and additional support for patients and their caregivers through our GUIDE program. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) opportunity with flexibility to choose a 4 or 5 day work week. We invest in the professional and clinical growth of our Neurology APP team with numerous professional, research, and academic opportunities and are looking for someone that is eager to learn, driven, and motivated to provide the highest level of clinical care. The APP will participate in the education of learners (other APPs, students/APP fellows, nurses, and new clinical teammates) and with our operational leaders and cognitive program coordinator to help support-cognitive care initiatives. Major responsibilities include providing both direct and indirect care for neurology patients with a focus on cognitive care in the ambulatory setting. Our Atrium Health Neurology team consists of over 70 physicians and 30+ APPs across Charlotte fostering an engaged and collaborative environment. Our established APP Leadership structure, alongside our Center for Advanced Practice, provides support, advocacy, and numerous opportunities for professional growth while prioritizing well-being and cultural safety for our team. Position Details Provide cognitive and memory care to patients in the outpatient clinic setting. Evaluate new memory consults and manage established follow-ups. Our APPs also support monitoring of our anti amyloid infusion patients. Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with option of 4-day work week (specific day off would be assigned but would be consistent each week) No call, nights, or weekends A collaborative environment with an established APP Leadership structure that provides support, advocacy, and numerous opportunities for professional growth. We provide our APPs with a comprehensive onboarding experience that includes a customized clinical and didactic orientation for first 8-12 weeks (based on experience) with MDs and APPs across the department and is then followed by ongoing clinical support and educational opportunities.
