Interstate Mechanical Services (IMS) Interstate Mechanical Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior BAS Controls Technician to join our expanding Controls Division. If you're a hands-on field professional with strong experience in commercial building automation systems, we want to hear from you. This position is ideal for a seasoned controls technician who thrives in both installation and service environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality, reliable BAS solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO Install and rough-in low-voltage control systems Mount panels, perform wiring, and complete terminations Program, configure, start up, and commission controllers Troubleshoot, diagnose, and service existing BAS systems Support both new construction projects and ongoing service work Collaborate with project managers, service teams, and customers to ensure successful project delivery WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Minimum 5 years of BAS / HVAC controls experience Strong field knowledge of commercial building automation systems Experience with at least one major controls platform, including: Johnson Controls (SCT / CCT) Distech Controls Trane (Summit, Tracer) Siemens (ABT Site, Desigo) Carrier i-Vue Automated Logic Allerton Solid understanding of BACnet (IP & MS/TP) Niagara N4 Certification strongly preferred You should be confident working independently in the field while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
