Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality assurance in a mission-critical financial services environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge payment technologies while ensuring the highest standards of software quality, reliability, and security. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products that impact the entire U.S. financial ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and execute comprehensive software quality assurance strategies Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts (UI and API) Develop and execute manual test cases when required Support CI/CD pipelines to enable scheduled and continuous test execution Validate end-to-end application workflows across teams Identify, document, track, and resolve software defects Ensure quality standards are embedded throughout the SDLC Define and communicate quality metrics related to performance, security, compliance, and reliability Partner with delivery teams to align QA strategy with product roadmaps and timelines Required Qualifications10+ years of relevant experience in software quality engineering 5+ years in a Senior Quality Engineer role Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Hands-on experience with Cypress and Selenium Experience with JMeter or similar performance testing tools JavaScript / TypeScript and Java AWS or similar cloud platform UI and API automation for web applications Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices Ability to work independently with limited supervision Benefits & Highlights Competitive hourly rate 6-month contract with potential for extension Work with mission-critical financial infrastructure Multiple location options across major metropolitan areas Opportunity to work with cutting-edge payment technologies Collaborative, innovation-focused environment Make a direct impact on the U.S. financial system Eligibility Requirements U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or Permanent Residents (minimum 3 years residency) Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship Employment contingent upon successful completion of background screening (education, employment, criminal, credit, and reference checks) Ready to take your quality engineering career to the next level?
