You will ensure that all patrons enter a safe, organized environment while maintaining strict adherence to Commonwealth financial and administrative protocols. DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will provide clerical support to the park office and the pool ticket booth when it is operational for Caledonia State Park. As the primary point of contact for the public, this position manages the pool ticket booth, overseeing high-volume cash transactions and ensuring financial accuracy throughout the day. The role serves as a park ambassador, providing visitors with essential information regarding facilities, local attractions, and park regulations. Additionally, the position facilitates park accessibility by issuing disability parking permits and handles all incoming telephone and email inquiries, ensuring that visitor concerns are addressed promptly or directed to the appropriate management or ranger staff. Work Schedule and Additional Information: This is a seasonal, full-time position with no healthcare benefits. There is not an option to buy into health care benefits. The season runs from approximately May 2026 until September 2026 at which time the employee will be placed on leave without pay. The employee will automatically be returned to employment approximately May 2027. This position performs duties that are routinely executed seven days a week and will be routinely scheduled to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed for park operations and to meet seasonal needs.
