DetailsClient Name Piedmont Augusta Hospital Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty Endoscopy Job ID 35987705 Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy Weekly Pay $1741.18 Shift DetailsShift Days - 3 x 12 Scheduled Hours 36 Job Order DetailsStart Date 03/23/2026 End Date 06/15/2026 Duration 12 Week(s) Job Description Title Endoscopy/Procedure RN - Endoscopy/Procedures Schedule Shift pattern: 2 × 10-hour shifts (6:30-17:00) + 2 × 8-hour shifts (6:30-15:00) = 36 hours/week Weekends: 2-3 weekends per contract Call: 1 weekday call per week and 1 weekend call per 6-week schedule Assignment Details Patient population: Adult to geriatric Average daily census: 20 Requirements - Minimum 1 year RN experience - Required certifications: BLS and ACLS - Experience required in ERCP (including ERCP with SpyGlass) - Skills in Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, and ION procedures - Administering and monitoring conscious sedation Roles & Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. - Monitor patient vital signs and sedation levels during procedures. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes. - Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedure care. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records. Compliance / Notes - Vaccines: COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed) - Documentation: Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may delay start by ~2 weeks - RTO/Holiday rules: If 1-2 major holidays fall during assignment, traveler is expected to work them; if 3 fall, expected to work two.
