Strategic Sourcing Specialist II

Talascend is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist II for a contract opportunity with our client in Tempe, Arizona. Overview The role involves supplier market research, obtaining documentation for solicitation efforts, and evaluating supplier information to determine the most desirable suppliers. The specialist will drive the completion of compliant packages and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with program requirements. Responsibilities Responsible for supplier market research and obtaining documentation for solicitation efforts Evaluates supplier information to determine most desirable suppliers Execute FAR15 subcontracts IAW FAR, DFARS and applicable regulations Support negotiations (price, terms & conditions) Manage key program suppliers Build supplier strategies to enable the best overall value Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance Requirements DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15) Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Strong negotiation skills and processes Supply chain experience Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc. Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD) Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions Shift Hybrid after 90 days on assignment We thank all applicants for their interest.
