Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours) Per Week: 36 Hours Roles & ResponsibilitiesSeeking an experienced RN with strong medical-surgical care for non-critically ill patients. Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Staffing Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Minimum QualificationsEOW EOH Telemetry background required At least 1.5 yrs of med/surg experience No artificial/acrylic nails and nails must be short (May need to float to sites within 40 miles QUALIFICATIONSBLS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license One year of Cerner experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
