HotFoot Recruiters is excited to fill the position of Electrical PE - Potential Principal. This role will support projects within the government and healthcare sectors, with long-term growth potential into a Principal-level position for the right candidate. Title: Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) - Potential Principal Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire Location: United States Compensation: $140,000-$150,000 DOE (Principal-track potential) Role Summary This position is ideal for an experienced Electrical PE with exposure to government and/or healthcare projects who is interested in long-term leadership growth. The role will contribute to project execution, technical oversight, and client-facing engineering support, with the opportunity to grow into a Principal role. Responsibilities Provide licensed electrical engineering support for government and healthcare sector projects. Lead or support electrical design, review, and technical oversight for assigned projects. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and clients. Review drawings, specifications, and calculations under PE licensure. Support project planning, execution, and quality standards. Participate in client meetings and technical discussions. Contribute to mentorship, leadership, and long-term practice development as the role evolves. Qualifications Active Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) license (required). Experience working on government and/or healthcare sector projects (at least one sector required). Strong understanding of electrical systems design and regulatory compliance. Interest in long-term growth toward a Principal-level role. Strong communication skills and ability to work with clients and internal teams. Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
