Job Description

Job Summary This role works within the Maintenance Department, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The focus is on repairing and performing preventive maintenance on tools, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient, precise, and cost-effective manufacturing that meets customer and product specifications. This position is available for our 1st shift (6:00 am-4:30 pm) or 2nd shift (2:00 pm-12:30 am), Monday through Thursday. Responsibilities Perform fabrication tasks with minimal supervision. Interpret CAD models, blueprints, and sketches to build or modify tools and equipment. Conduct repairs and preventive maintenance on various tooling and fixtures. Provide technical feedback to improve reliability and yield. Support troubleshooting and improvement projects across departments. Operate tool room equipment (e.g., grinders, mills, lathes, drill presses). Document work and perform rework on worn/damaged parts. Required Qualifications 5 years of machining and fabrication experience. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively. Strong mechanical aptitude and adaptability. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings using GD&T. Capable of creating job-related documentation. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and other PC-based design/manufacturing software. Ability to generate 2D/3D CAD drawings using GD&T. Journeyman certification is preferred. Strong presentation skills for conveying engineering concepts.
